Hrmm, l was thinking the next song is going to have somewhat of a vampire feel to it.
Now, I must ask you....what word would you most like to hear in a song such as Vampire's?

EyeButterfly is about to embark on a new adventure, a lustrous new playground, that's right a NEW song is in the works!
I'm very excited about this track, I would say it fits perfect with the previous EB material. It has the right mix of Electronica, trance and fantasy that I like to work with.
I can't say much about it now due to the track being so early in the writing stages. Although I will say strong melody lines, haunting vocal tones, (HINT: Vampire) song concept and lyrics are coming through. Let's just say it's playing the strings of my heart!
I would also like to thank Ivor 'Tweed8' Stines (Front man of the band '8 Digital') for his awesome work on this song. I really like what he's done so far and I know you will, too!
So hang in there for more updates, as I will definitely make them as I go along!

Eye Butterfly is a semi-established female fronted Electronic/Industrial act based out of Toronto Canada with a pro attitude. Valerie, filling the spot of vocal melodies and lyrical content, (also production) is in search of a Electronic programmer/keys/synth and a Guitar player.
Valerie hopes to write new songs and take a few of the old ones into the future of Eye Butterfly.

So, last nights shoot with Mykhull was a total hit!
Dorota,
an awesome makeup artist worth checking out FORSURE! Was a major energy stabilizer for me. She was not only professional but took great passion with her work! I would say we came up with some awesome makeup ideas indeed ;)
Mykhull, was amazing! It was nice to have a male perspective this time on Camera as my previous shoots were with Paula Wilson (awesome lady photographer) I was very pleased with his work! He is definitely worth the hire! Not only was he accommodating I felt his sense of style definitely complimented mine. Shots will be ready within two weeks time or earlier, I will keep you updated upon their release.
We worked through a pleather of awesome poses, and I can honestly say my body HURTS! Hehe some of the poses were quite compromising....*aches* But definitely worth every move!

.....THE WONDERFUL WIZARD OF ORANGE LOUNGE?
Hey everyone, now that Christmas and New Years is finally over I can see clearly now.....no more Wal-Mart for awhile! lol! It is time to get EB back up and rolling. :) What better way to end 2006 and begin anew (2007) with the release of Broken Wings!
This Sunday January the 7th, I will be tracking my vocals at a very reputable studio called the Orange Lounge.
Artists such as Nelly Furtado and Jakalope have also recorded there. :D
It's always been my dream to enter one of these fine palaces of studio heaven and now's the time! So check back for more updates on the release of Broken Wings and I hope you have a great start on your New Year!

Programmers: This would also include a firm knowledge of the Electronica, Rock, and Industrial genres. Production ideas would be a bonus!
Bands: (Both Indie and Signed/Local or International) Also looking for professional artists who would be willing to collaborate on at least one song for a possible future album.

And now for the hard part..
Greg and I have parted ways. This is not something easy for me to announce, and I will miss the great chemistry we had writing songs together. I do think, Greg is a very talented person and wish him the absolute best in his future forthcomings.
I have decided to continue, and look for new writers. I have put a lot of hard work into Eye Butterfly for over two and a half years now, and would be disappointed to see it not bloom to it’s fullest potential. I would be interested in pursuing professional producers, writers, collaborators and a Manager. If you are interested in working with me please send emails to eyebutterfly@eyebutterfly.ca I would definitely like to see where things could go from here. :)

This song has great potential and I think it’s very important that I share this with the fans present and future. So take in mind this is just a rough sample for you all to hear.
